Getting the most out of Tallywise
Everything you need to count, save, and export — explained simply.
Quick start
Pick a counter type
Tap + on the Home screen and choose the type that fits your task. You can rename everything once you start.
Tap to count
Tap the big button once for every item you count. Use −1 or Undo if you make a mistake.
Save when done
Tap Save to store your session with its name, count, and any notes you've added. It'll appear in History.

Track binary outcomes with a live percentage breakdown.
Target
Set a goal and watch the progress bar fill as you count toward it.

Saving your count
Tap Save on the counter screen when you're done. Your session is stored with its name, all counter values, and today's date.
You can add notes to a saved session from the session detail screen — useful for any context you'll want to remember later.
Saved sessions appear in the History tab. Sessions that haven't been exported yet show an amber badge as a reminder.
Tip: don't save too early
Once saved, a session is archived. If you need to keep counting the same thing, stay on the active session screen — your count is saved automatically as you go.
Exporting your data
Open any saved session and tap Export to share your results.
Text summary
Share a clean formatted text summary of any session via any app on your phone — Messages, WhatsApp, email, Notes, or anything else.
CSV export
Export individual sessions or all your counts at once as a CSV file — ready for Excel, Google Sheets, or any data tool.
Milestone badges
Tallywise tracks your total taps across all sessions and awards a badge when you reach a new tier. Check your progress in Settings.

Reach a new tier and you'll get a confetti celebration. Badges are never lost — even if you reset or delete sessions.
Tips & settings
Click sounds
Choose from six satisfying click sounds — or set to silent. Find it in Settings → Sound.
Haptic feedback
Every tap vibrates your phone for a satisfying physical response. Toggle it in Settings.
Dark mode
Tallywise defaults to dark mode. Switch to light in Settings if you prefer.
Button colours
Pick your tap button colour and glow colour independently from 10 palette options in Settings.
Multiple counters
Add extra counters to any session and switch between them with a tap — count several things at once.
Undo
Tapped one too many times? Hit Undo on the counter screen to reverse your last tap instantly.
Languages
Available in English, Italian, Spanish, German, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.
